We knew it was important to make the Resident Pheasant range the best in every way possible, keeping the chocolate tasting fresh but doing little harm the planet. That’s why we took the 3 step approach to ensure this was the case:
Step 1: Keepin’ It Fresh
Once our chocolate has cooled from the mould, it is ready to be wrapped to stay nice and fresh. That’s why we choose NatureFlex™ packaging films. They offer high barriers to aspects which can impact the taste and smell of food such as oxygen and aromas, but without nasty plastic particles. The shelf life is maintained (although we don’t expect your Resident Pheasant Chocolate to last that long!)
NatureFlex™ is made from eucalyptus pulp, an organic material that is both biodegradable and compostable. Dispose of this in your compost bin.
Step 2: Colour Me Kind
We add our outer packaging to show off the flavour. Despite the fancy designs, eye-catching colours and enticing patterns, this outer layer is widely recyclable in your kerbside bin and won’t get sent to landfill, hip hip hooray!
Step 3: Box the Choc
All our tissue paper, cardboard shipping boxes, sleeves are all cardboard. We ship this to you in kraft paper with kraft sealing tape. Everything can also go straight into the recycling without any issues.
